Report: Cowboys' Sean Lee underwent minor knee surgery

Matthew Emmons / USA TODAY Sports

Dallas Cowboys linebacker Sean Lee underwent minor knee surgery Friday, a source told Ian Rapoport of NFL Network.

Lee's procedure was a clean-up scope of his knee and is expected to require a recovery time of two weeks, notes Rapoport.

It appears the surgery will not impact Lee's offseason, but with the 29-year-old's long history of knee injuries, any issues with his health is a cause for concern.

Lee missed the entire 2014 season after tearing his ACL during training camp.

He was relatively healthy in 2015 and played in 14 games, missing two contests due to a hamstring issue and a concussion.
