Report: Broncos don't expect Eagles to trade Sam Bradford

Eric Hartline-USA TODAY Sports / Reuters

The Philadelphia Eagles are reportedly not interested in trading quarterback Sam Bradford, despite his request, and as a result the Denver Broncos are looking into other options.

The Broncos don't expect the Eagles to trade Bradford to any team, and are now "mulling" over other quarterback options, ESPN's Adam Schefter reports.

Bradford requested a trade following the Eagles acquisition of the second overall pick and announcing their plans to draft a quarterback. Philadelphia's front office has been adamant they plan on Bradford to be their starting quarterback heading into the 2016 season.

The Broncos were reportedly in trade discussions with the Eagles in an effort to strengthen their quarterback depth, which features Mark Sanchez and Trevor Siemian.
