If all goes as planned, Laremy Tunsil will be the first offensive lineman selected in the first round of the 2016 NFL Draft. However, Tunsil's already experienced some heartbreak ahead of the annual player selection event.

Tunsil said he was "pretty sure" that he would've been the first player selected if the Tennessee Titans retained the first overall pick, according to Lindsay Jones of USA TODAY Sports. The Los Angeles Rams traded up to acquire the first selection, while the Titans acquired a number of picks and will make their first choice at No. 15.

"It's part of the game, part of the process," Tunsil said via NFL.com's Kevin Patra. "Things happen for a reason, so I'm just going to continue to do my part, whatever team I go to, I'm going to give it my all ... just be happy to be part of a team, be happy to be in the NFL is my goal."

Tunsil is projected to be selected within the draft's first 10 picks, with the San Diego Chargers sporting a real need at left tackle while holding the No. 3 pick. Nonetheless, the weight of expectations is a real challenge for all prospects, even ones who are slated to become Week 1 starters.
