Jerry Jones commends Jalen Ramsey for a suspension that didn't happen

If Florida State defensive back Jalen Ramsey is available with the fourth overall pick, it would be tough for the Dallas Cowboys to pass on the talented and versatile defender.

Cowboys owner Jerry Jones is such a fan of the All-American, he commended Ramsey for his "too physical" actions in practice that lead to a one-game suspension.

"We’ve got a couple of players in this draft that are really inspirational practice players," Jones told Drew Davison of the Star-Telegraph. "The corner (Ramsey) got suspended from playing a regular season game because he was too aggressive at his own practice.

"Now who does that remind you of around here? I think Deion (Sanders) and Michael (Irvin) and those guys used to go at it, and both said the games are the easiest part. The practice against each other was the rough part."

The only issue with that is that Ramsey was never suspended. That's not to say he isn't a physical, intense practice player. The part about being booted from practice is true, but Ramsey never missed a start in three years at Florida State.
