Pierre-Paul said he won't need any further surgeries on his right hand, Jordan Raanan of NJ.com reports.

Analysis:

Pierre-Paul famously injured his right hand in a fireworks accident last summer, causing him to miss the first eight games of the 2015 season. He did return with a massive cast on the hand for the second half of the campaign, but he only managed one sack in eight games after tallying 12.5 the previous season. Following an additional surgery in January, the 27-year-old signed a one-year contract in March, presumably hoping to repair his value. Pierre-Paul should be back to full health in 2016, and he also mentioned that he lost some weight during the offseason.
