Rams' Snead: Goff, Wentz among best QBs we've ever worked out

It remains unclear which quarterback the Los Angeles Rams are targeting with their newly acquired first overall draft pick, and that could be because they truly have yet to decide.

Though there is much disagreement in the NFL draft community about whether either of the top passing prospects, Jared Goff and Carson Wentz, are worthy of the top pick, the Rams apparently believe both are.

"They were both in the Tier 1 of workouts we'd seen since we came to the Rams," general manager Les Snead told Peter King of The MMQB.

As King notes, Snead has seen workouts from Blake Bortles, Teddy Bridgewater, Jameis Winston, and Marcus Mariota, among others.

Snead said the Rams are convinced both Goff and Wentz will be successful NFL quarterbacks.

Of course, the Rams will soon have to choose which of the two they prefer. If Snead is to be believed, it could be the sort of tough decision that quarterback-needy teams dream of getting to make.
