Chargers grab LB Jatavis Brown in 5th round

The San Diego Chargers have selected linebacker Jatavis Brown out of Akron in the fifth round of the 2016 NFL Draft.
Brown adds a tremendous amount of speed to an already youthful group of linebackers that includes Manti Te'o, Denzel Perryman, and Jeremiah Attaochu.

Strengths
- Shows incredible speed during play, using exceptional athleticism across the field.
- Dangerous on the blitz, using speed to get home to the quarterback.
- One of the top linebackers in the country at chasing down running backs.
- Plays well in team scheme, sticks to structure.
Weaknesses
- Undersized for the linebacker position, built more like a hybrid safety.
- Larger offensive linemen can maul him at the point of attack.
