LeSean McCoy isn't in the clear just yet.

Pennsylvania Solicitor General Bruce Castor said the Attorney General's office is reviewing the District Attorney's decision not to file charges against the Buffalo Bills running back and others involved in a nightclub altercation that left two off-duty police officers injured, reports Walt Hunter of CBS Philadelphia.

"I think it's completely accurate to say LeSean McCoy and anyone else allegedly involved in this incident are not totally cleared," Castor said.

The latest development, nearly two weeks after the decision from District Attorney Seth Williams, comes from a request filed by Fraternal Order of Police President John McNesby.

"There’s a lot about this case that isn't known," McNesby said."We just want a fresh set of eyes to take a look at it."

McNesby expressed frustration with the slow-developing investigation early on, suggesting police would go to the attorney general if charges weren't filed.

"I think that he's overthinking this," McNesby said in February, according to ESPN. "I think they're overlooking it. I think they're investigating too much. They need to just move on with it. If he does not charge the group of individuals that were there that night, that's an absolute disrespect to Philadelphia police officers."

Reports following the district attorney's decision indicated McCoy wasn't expected to receive any sort of suspension from the NFL.

However, it was reported earlier this week that the league's investigation is ongoing and discipline remains a possibility.
