Redskins take OLB Su'a Cravens in 2nd round
Gary A. Vasquez-USA TODAY Sports
The Washington Redskins selected outside linebacker Su'a Cravens out of USC in the second round of the 2016 NFL Draft, 53rd overall.
Washington is quietly building a solid linebacking corps with Perry Riley, Ryan Kerrigan, and Trent Murphy already in the fold. That said, Cravens is a versatile talent the Redskins can use in many ways.
Cravens has the ability to play as a safety in coverage and stuff the run like a linebacker. Washington will love that, as the Redskins finished 26th against the run last season.
