The Seattle Seahawks have selected offensive tackle Germain Ifedi out of Texas A&M in the first round of the 2016 NFL Draft.
Ifedi boasts the versatility to play either offensive tackle or guard, and projects to be a massive improvement over Garry Gilliam, Bradley Sowell, and Terry Poole.
The 21-year-old is quick on his feet and his long arms will allow him to develop into a strong pass blocker.
Barring unforeseen circumstances, Ifedi is slated to become the Seahawks' starting left tackle; at very worst, the Seahawks shift Justin Britt to left tackle, while Ifedi features on the right side.
