Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback Blake Bortles saw a huge jump in his production last season, throwing for 4,428 yards and 35 touchdowns, but he believes his success goes hand-in-hand with the play of his young receivers.

"I'd say they're No. 1," Bortles told NFL Network on Wednesday, when asked where the tandem of Allen Robinson and Allen Hurns ranks among the league's best. "They're special, man."

Robinson, 22, and Hurns, 24, racked up a combined 2,431 yards and 24 touchdowns in 2015, each contributing in their own way.

"A-Rob is obviously the guy that can go downfield, can jump and can make the big play," Bortles said. "And Hurns is Mr. Reliable, doesn't drop a whole lot of balls, is always in the right place at the right time.

"And they work well together, they feed off of each other, they root for one another. So it's pretty cool to see, to watch them grow and grow with them as an offensive unit."

With the year-long suspension of Pittsburgh Steelers receiver Martavis Bryant, the Bryant-Antonio Brown duo, which would be the favorite for top duo, won't be in action next season. Other potential top receiver combinations are the New York Jets' Brandon Marshall and Eric Decker, and the Denver Broncos' Demaryius Thomas and Emmanuel Sanders.

The Jaguars have one of the youngest offenses in the league, with their oldest starting skill position player being newly-acquired 28-year-old running back Chris Ivory. The Jags have drafted Bortles, Hurns, Robinson, running back T.J. Yeldon, and receivers Rashad Greene and Marqise Lee over the past two years.
