NFL Game Summary - Indianapolis at Cincinnati

Cincinnati, OH (Sports Network) - Andy Dalton led the Bengals to a touchdown drive in his only offensive series in Cincinnati's 27-10 win over the Indianapolis Colts.

Dalton completed just one pass for 18 yards to Mohamed Sanu on the 7-play, 49- yard march, which was capped on rookie Giovani Bernard's 1-yard TD run.

Josh Johnson was 7-of-13 for 67 yards with a score, while the rookie Bernard carried the ball four times for 12 yards for Cincinnati, which finished the preseason 3-1 and will play the Chicago Bears in Week 1 of the regular season.

The Colts, who concluded the preseason 2-2, rested most of their starters, including quarterback Andrew Luck. Matt Hasselbeck got the starting nod and completed 5-of-8 passes for 49 yards for Indianapolis, which hosts the Oakland Raiders in Week 1.

Adam Vinatieri booted through a 43-yard field goal on Indy's initial drive of the contest to make it 3-0 before the Bengals tallied 27 straight points.

Bernard's plunge gave Cincinnati the lead and Mike Nugent booted through a 42- yard field goal on its next offensive series to make it 10-3. Johnson flipped a 3-yard TD pass to Marvin Jones midway through the second quarter and Nugent nailed a 33-yarder on the Bengals' first possession of the second half. Rex Burkhead's 2-yard TD run on Cincinnati's next drive made it 27-3.

Chandler Harnish's 7-yard TD pass to Dominique Jones early in the fourth capped the scoring.
