Report: McFadden expected back this week

According to a report from the San Francisco Chronicle, Darren McFadden's teammates expect the running back to return this week. McFadden has been out of action since week 9 when he suffered a high-ankle sprain. The Raiders' players seem to be hopeful that McFadden could return to practice by Wednesday to be ready for the Raiders week 13 matchup against the Cleveland Browns. The injury plauged running back missed his third straight start this past Sunday and has been replaced on the field by Marcel Reece and Jeremy Stewart.
McFadden's return would spell a big boost for the Raiders who have struggled in recent weeks. McFadden has never played a full season in the NFL, never playing more than 13 games in each of his first three professional season. In 7 games this season, McFadden rushed for 614 yards on 113 carries with 4 touchdowns.
