Report: Colts acquire Davis from Dolphins
According to a tweet from Jay Glazer, the Indianapolis Colts have acquired Vontae Davis from the Miami Dolphins in exchange for a second round pick in 2013 and a conditional sixth round pick.
The 2009 draft pick was taken 25th overall by the Dolphins who then signed him to a five-year deal with $7 million guaranteed.
Last season, Davis played in 12 games, racking up 39 solo tackles, 1 sack and 4 interceptions.
He is the younger brother of San Francisco 49ers star Vernon Davis.
According to Glazer, the terms of the deal have been agreed but the trade has yet to be finalized.
