Plaxico Burress to the Eagles?
Soon-to-be free agent Plaxico Burress would like to play for the Philadelphia Eagles in 2012, the wide receiver told NBC's Howard Eskin.
The Philadelphia Eagles considered signing Burress last season, but the 34-year-old ended up on a one-year deal with the New York Jets. Burress posted 612 receiving yards on 45 receptions, adding eight touchdowns with the Jets last season.
The Jets failed to make the postseason with an 8-8 record. Burress will become a free agent on March 13.
