Plan for RG3 to join 11-on-11s Tuesday
It seems like Robert Griffin III is about to take another step on his path of recovery.

Griffin is being held out of the preseason by Washington and has only participated in seven-on-seven drills so far during Redskins' training camp. Griffin has been recovering from ACL surgery and Washington has been taking a caution approach after taking criticism for playing Griffin while injured last season.
According to Mike Jones of the Washington Post, Griffin took 53 of 70 snaps during the Skins' walkthrough on Monday, leading to the decision to allow him to participate in 11-on-11 drills for the first time during camp.
Just because the plan is to keep Griffin out of the preseason doesn't mean he likes it. The quarterback spoke to reporters following Monday's practice (via CBS Sports) and didn't seem all that happy when asked about Shanahan's plan.
"I can't BS that answer. So, uh, no. I don't like it. There's some part of it that I do understand. I don't understand all of it. At the end of the day he gave me his word. We talked privately. I know the whole plan. I'm not telling the whole plan. I don't understand the whole plan at all and I can't lie about that."
