Backwards Tebow appears in ad for Indian football league
Likely without his permission, Tim Tebow appears in a new ad for the Elite Football League of India (EFLI), a fledgling league whose investors reportedly include former NFL stars Kurt Warner and Mike Ditka and actor Mark Wahlberg.
An image of the ad was sent to Phil Hecken of the Uni Watch blog, who noted the obvious problem with the use of Tebow -- specifically, that the left-handed quarterback has been flipped horizontally and transformed into a righty.
Curiously, the graphic designer who created the ad didn't bother to correct the backwards numbers and Broncos wordmark on Tebow's jersey.
Tebow's certainly a huge draw in his home country, but is the polarizing player a big enough deal in India to get people excited about American football?
If he is, perhaps he can find work as quarterback for the Delhi Defenders or Kolkata Vipers if his current stint with the New England Patriots doesn't end well.
