A pair of golfers ended their runs at the Dell Match Play before finishing their rounds Friday as both Paul Casey and Daniel Berger withdrew from the WGC event.

Casey withdrew early in his match against Jason Day due to illness, pushing Day - who was dealing with a back injury of his own earlier in the week - into Saturday's elimination round.

Berger, meanwhile, injured his left wrist Thursday after his downswing hit a rock wall on his second shot at the 18th hole. He did not tee off Friday, but was scheduled to face Matthew Fitzpatrick, who was already out of contention to play on the weekend.
