Coach Terry Stotts revealed his second unit during Thursday's preseason finale, installing Jeffries in the frontcourt alongside rookie Meyers Leonard (head). In essence, Jeffries appears to be the backup power forward over rookie Joel Freeland, likely due to his veteran savvy more than anything. Jeffries tallied just 2.3 points and 2.3 boards in 11 minutes per game over six preseason games, which should keep him on the waiver wire of all but the deepest fantasy leagues.
