DeAndre Hopkins rewarded the Houston Texans' faith in him by cementing his position among the NFL's elite wide receivers during the 2015 season, and now he wants to return the favor by remaining with the franchise for the rest of his career.

"If I can play my whole career here, I would," Hopkins said, according to Aaron Wilson of the Houston Chronicle. "I love this place. This organization took a chance on drafting me."

Hopkins routinely put the Texans' offense on his back despite the rotating cast of quarterbacks, and appears set to become the face of the franchise - along with defensive end J.J. Watt - for the foreseeable future.

The 23-year-old caught 111 passes for 1,521 yards and 11 touchdowns during the regular season, but believes he still hasn't reached his full potential.

"There's a lot that I need to improve on, YAC (yards after the catch), which I finished last in," Hopkins said. "Being a better leader, not getting frustrated when things aren't going my way, just being a leader of this team."
