Roma attacker Stephan El Shaarawy came to the aid of a trembling mascot ahead of Friday's 3-1 victory over Carpi, handing his tracksuit to a young girl struggling with the chilling Modena weather.

Some say a picture is worth 1000 words, but this one may be good value for twice that. Diego Perotti's lad seems distracted by El Shaarawy's kindness, while Edin Dzeko's mascot clearly missed the pre-match fitting. Children appear to be terrified by Roma defender Antonio Rudiger, preferring to gather in front of tough-tackling leg-breaker Radja Nainggolan, while Mohamed Salah's youngster seems set to curtsy at the Stadio Alberto Braglia.
