Robert Kraft's biggest regret from the 2015 season is that the New England Patriots weren't able to secure home-field advantage for the playoffs.

The Patriots owner made the revelation Wednesday during a one-on-one interview with Maria Stephanos of WCVB-TV in Boston.

"I think if I have any regret, it's that the conference championship game wasn't played here in our hometown," Kraft said, per ESPN's Mike Reiss.

The Patriots had an opportunity late in the season to clinch the No. 1 seed in the AFC and home-field advantage, but ended up losing their final two games to the New York Jets and Miami Dolphins. That forced them to travel to Denver for the AFC Championship Game, where they were defeated 20-18 by the eventual Super Bowl champion Broncos.

Asked about watching Peyton Manning win his second Super Bowl, Kraft had this to say: "I happened to see Archie (Manning) there. He has two sons who have won two Super Bowls (each). But with all due respect, we have one son who has won four."
