Fresh off a Super Bowl 50 title, the Denver Broncos aren't about to rush Peyton Manning into making a decision on his playing future.

General manager John Elway said Tuesday that "there's no deadline" for Manning to notify the team whether he intends to return for a 19th season.

While Manning wouldn't disclose his plans following Sunday's game, instead stating that he'd take some time in the coming weeks, multiple reports have indicated that he is indeed expected to call it a career.

Should Manning opt to walk away, re-signing impending free-agent Brock Osweiler will become all the more necessary for Elway and the rest of the Broncos' front office.

Osweiler started seven games during Manning's injury absence this year, helping Denver to secure a playoff berth and thus staking a claim as the team's long-term answer under center.
