Gilbert Arenas: Could be Headed Abroad

Arenas is close to signing a one-year deal with the Guandong Southern Tigers of the Chinese Basketball Association, Yahoo! Sports reports.

After failing to generate much interest on the NBA's open market, Arenas will do as Stephon Marbury did before him and try to recapture his former glory in China. Arenas averaged a mere 4.2 points per game off the bench with the Grizzlies last season, so even if he finds success in China, expect interest at the NBA-level to remain mild.
