Rehabilitation on schedule for Bournemouth's Callum Wilson, Max Gradel

Eddie Howe could add Callum Wilson and Max Gradel to his Bournemouth squad for what should be a vital end of season run-in.

The attacking duo started the Cherries' inaugural Premier League campaign in storming form, but Gradel first fell to an ACL injury at the end of August before Wilson - who had enjoyed a seamless transition into the top tier with five goals in seven starts - fell to the same problem just a month later.

Incredibly, Bournemouth sits with a seven-point cushion above the Premier League drop zone despite the pair being sidelined, but both could return soon to help secure the club's top-flight status soon.

"Callum Wilson and Max Gradel are pretty much in line with their scheduled returns. I wouldn't expect Max back any time soon, not within the next couple of weeks anyway, maybe in March," Howe said on Friday.

"I think both be back before the end of the season. From our perspective, they are like new signings if we can get them back to fitness and good form. I'm excited by the possibilities should they return this season."

Bournemouth welcomes Arsenal to Dean Court on Sunday, hoping to throw another spanner in the works of Arsene Wenger's title charge.
