Borussia Dortmund's attacking unit received a boost ahead of its clash against Hertha Berlin with manager Thomas Tuchel's confirmation that Marco Reus has overcome a virus and will be available to play Saturday.

Although the illness forced Reus to miss Dortmund's 2-1 victory over Ingolstadt, Tuchel is confident the 26-year-old "monster" will return to form.

"Things with Reus are looking good," Tuchel told reporters. "He can play on Saturday, which helps us. We believe that Marco can be the monster we know he is capable of being."

His return comes at a vital time in the schedule for Dortmund as it has an opportunity to widen the gap between itself and Berlin, who sits one place back and 10 points behind Tuchel's team.

"Hertha Berlin will be a tough nut to crack. They won't defend with five at the back again, they have gained confidence," Tuchel added.

Injuries have limited Reus to just 14 Bundesliga matches, but the talented German international has managed to bulge the back of the net nine times.
