Real Madrid will reportedly be giving Alvaro Morata a second chance.

According to David G. Medina of Marca, Real Madrid will pay €32 million to bring Morata back to the Santiago Bernabeu. The Spanish forward signed a five-year contract with Juventus in 2014, joining the Old Lady from Los Blancos for a fee of €20 million to be paid over three years.

The deal included an option for Real Madrid to reacquire Morata's registration rights at the end of 2016-17 or the 2016-17 season for up to a maximum of €30 million, but Los Blancos will apparently be exceeding that amount to bring him back to the club where he grew up.

Of course, Real Madrid will only be able to sign Morata if its FIFA-imposed transfer ban, the result of breaches relating to the international transfer and registration of players under the age of 18, is lifted. The ban was suspended pending its appeal, but Los Blancos will not be able to register players this summer if the appeal is rejected before the summer transfer window opens.

Morata extended his contract with Juventus in December, putting pen to paper on a deal until 2020. He holds three goals and two assists to his name through 21 Serie A appearances, 11 of which were as a substitute. Despite an increase in playing time due to Mario Mandzukic's calf injury, the 23-year-old does not appear to be Massimiliano Allegri's first-choice forward.
