The Akron RubberDucks will honor some of actor Adam Sandler's best work during a pair of promotions this summer.

Marking the 20th anniversary of the movie "Happy Gilmore," the Cleveland Indians' Double-A affiliate will welcome actor Christopher McDonald to the stadium May 28 in order to give away a Shooter McGavin booblehead.

You can pick them up on the ninth green at nine.

The Sandler movie promotions continue two months later, with the RubberDucks giving away a Miss Lippy bobblehead from the movie "Billy Madison" on Aug. 27 while also welcoming actress Dina Platias to help with the giveaway.

"We are always looking for ways to be a little out-of-the-box and to bring creative entertainment to Canal Park." RubberDucks general manager Jim Pfander said.

There's been no announcement on whether the team will be temporarily renamed the Akron BlueDucks that evening.
