Thomas Davis vowed to be on the field for Super Bowl 50, and is doing everything he can to ensure it happens.

Davis' wife posted an Instagram photo Monday morning showing the Carolina Panthers linebacker in a hospital cap, presumably set to undergo surgery on the broken right arm he sustained in Sunday's NFC Championship Game win over the Arizona Cardinals.

Head coach Ron Rivera confirmed Monday that Davis underwent surgery, and said it's his understanding that the linebacker will be able to play through the injury.

Davis was injured while tackling Cardinals tight end Darren Fells in the first half of the game. He was later spotted on the sideline with a cast on his right arm.

"I ain't missing the Super Bowl," Davis told reporters afterwards. "You better believe that. ... The early prognosis is it's broken. We'll get it figured out, and I'll be ready in two weeks."
