Lorenzo Pasciuti, part of Carpi's meteoric rise from the very beginning, did something Saturday that had never been done in Italian football.

By virtue of his goal in Carpi's Serie A victory versus Udinese, Pasciuti became the first-ever player to score for the same club in Serie D, Lega Pro Seconda Divisione (formerly Serie C2), Lega Pro Prima Divisione (formerly Serie C1), Serie B, and Serie A.

Pasciuti's first goal for Carpi came during the club's 2009-10 adventure, when the team was mired in the depths of Italian football in Serie D.

When Carpi punched its ticket to Serie A for the first time in club history last season, the team was forced to stop taking the pitch at Stadio Sandro Cabassi, as Italian football's top flight dictates that participants must play in a venue with a capacity of at least 20,000. As a result, Carpi's home fixtures are taking place at Stadio Alberto Braglia in Modena.
