Exeter City didn't waste any time in producing righteous scenes Friday at St James Park.
Hosting Liverpool in a David-versus-Goliath tie that kicked off the FA Cup's third round, Exeter opened the scoring in the eighth minute when, in simple fashion, an unmarked Tom Nichols poked a cross from Jamie Read past the outstretched fingertips of Adam Bogdan.
The good times, however, were short-lived, as Jerome Sinclair scored his first goal for Liverpool's first team only three minutes and 36 seconds later, unleashing a low drive that beat 'keeper Bobby Olejnik.
