Counterattack - Sunday's Top Contrarian Plays

Jayne Kamin-Oncea-USA TODAY Sports

Here are the top low-ownership options for Sunday's NBA action:

SG Dion Waiters, Thunder (vs. Jazz)

In the Thunder's potent offense, there are not too many scoring opportunities to go around, limiting the ceiling and value of Waiters.

SF Kevin Durant and PG Russell Westbrook run this offense, and even scoring PF Serge Ibaka's production has seen a decrease, therefore most DFSers will elect to fade the erratic Waiters, who shot an atrocious .286 from the floor on Thursday, then drained a respectable .556 FG% on Friday.

Utah's defense is one of the best in the game, and Waiters will be left highly unowned, which offers DFSers a fantastic GPP play on slim three-game slate.

PF Zach Randolph, Grizzlies (at Heat)

The Grizzlies' aging defense has been volatile to say the least, and the Heat's offense is salivating over this matchup.

Miami continues to play without its rebounding machine Hassan Whiteside, increasing the prospects of Randolph returning value on his cheap price-tag.

Before his game on Friday in versus Charlotte, Z-Bo grabbed back-to-back double figures in rebounds and supplied DFSers a viable return on investment. He has been stellar to start the season and comes at a cheap price.

C Jahlil Okafor, 76ers (at Raptors)

Okafor has made headlines for the wrong reasons off the court, though the rookie's statistics playing alongside replacement-level teammates can't go unnoticed.

Someone on the 76ers has to score the points, and due to Philadelphia's poor perimeter shooting against the Raptors' 3-ball defense (.362), expect the rock to be moved through the 76ers frontcourt and Okafor to return his modest price-tag in points and rebounds.
