The Philadelphia Eagles placed cornerback Nolan Carroll on injured reserve Friday, ending his season.
Carroll suffered a broken ankle in Thursday's loss to the Detroit Lions.
To fill Carroll's spot on the roster, the Eagles signed cornerback Jaylen Watkins off the Buffalo Bills' practice squad. Watkins was a fourth-round pick of the Eagles in 2014.
