Texas' Jerrod Heard diagnosed with concussion

Texas quarterback Jerrod Heard suffered a concussion in Thursday's loss to Texas Tech, according to ESPN's Max Olson.
Heard was taken to the locker room in the second quarter and did not return. His status for the season finale against Baylor is unclear.
The injury is just more bad news for the Longhorns, who lost a total of seven players on Thursday, including three of their top four running backs.
This season, Heard has thrown for 1,214 yards, five touchdowns, and five picks.
