A group of animal rights activists stormed the field at Ford Field during Thurdsay's Thanksgiving Day game between the Detroit Lions and Philadelphia Eagles.
The protesters carried signs saying "It's not food. It's violence," and "Animal Liberation Now."
The two women were apprehended by security immediately but did get on the FOX broadcast as the game wound down to the two-minute warning.
Earlier in the day Pittsburgh Steelers running back DeAngelo Williams posed with a live turkey. His views on animal rights are unknown.
