John Harbaugh: Justin Forsett remains a big part of Ravens' future

Baltimore Ravens running back Justin Forsett is still considered a big part of the future of the franchise, despite suffering a broken arm that will mean he will miss the remainder of the season..

Forsett had been a major part of the Ravens' offense since joining the team before the 2014 season, but at 30 years old, many are questioning whether the injury will mean he's played his last down for Baltimore.

"I would expect Justin back next year full-speed, ready to go," head coach John Harbaugh said to Jamison Hensley of ESPN. "He's under contract and a big part of what we're doing going forward."

Forsett does have two years remaining on the deal he signed with the Ravens in the past offseason, but the $3 million guaranteed in his contract has already been paid, meaning he could be released with little financial impact.

The running back successfully underwent surgery on Monday and tweeted out his appreciation for the support he'd received.

The former 2008 seventh-round pick had 641 yards and two touchdowns before his season-ending injury.
