Dolphins claim Quinton Coples

The Miami Dolphins have bolstered their pass rush by claiming linebacker Quinton Coples off waivers, the team confirmed Tuesday
The former 2012 first-round pick was released by the New York Jets on Monday.
Coples will reunite with former Jets general manager Mike Tannenbaum in Miami, who originally drafted him back in 2012.
The 25-year-old will return to the 4-3 defensive scheme that best suits his abilities, after struggling to adjust to head coach Todd Bowles' 3-4 scheme with the Jets.
Coples has 16.5 career sacks, but has yet to register one this season.
In a corresponding move, the Dolphins waived cornerback Zack Bowman.
