Report: Chiefs' Houston diagnosed with PCL sprain after initial tests

Justin Houston may have suffered little more than a minor knee injury in Sunday's win over the Buffalo Bills.

While more tests are still ahead, the initial diagnosis indicates the Kansas City Chiefs' star pass-rusher is dealing with a PCL sprain, according to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network.

A timeline for Houston's return to the field won't be determined until the evaluation of his knee is complete, but avoiding a more significant injury would almost certainly have him available down the stretch.

Whether he'll have a chance to play in next week's division showdown with the Oakland Raiders would depend on his practice participation in the coming days.

Houston is once again contributing as a dominant force as part of Kansas City's 10th-ranked defense, recording 7.5 sacks and two interceptions through 11 games.
