Free agent forward David Booth appears on his way to Russia to sign with a KHL club, reports George Richards of the Miami Herald.

Booth's wife, Ashley, posted an image on Instagram - which featured the hashtag #RussiaBound - that seemingly confirmed the move:

Booth failed to nail down a pro deal in September after being invited back to the Florida Panthers on a professional tryout. He scored seven goals and 13 points for the Toronto Maple Leafs last season.

All signs point to him inking a deal with Admiral Vladivostok.
