At 6-foot-9, head shots are normally the least of Zdeno Chara's concerns.

But after New York Islanders forward Matt Martin knocked Chara off his feet behind the Bruins net, Cal Clutterbuck drilled the defenseman's head into the boards as he fell down, warranting a two-minute boarding call near the end of the second period.

The former Norris Trophy winner angrily went after the pair of Islanders once play was stopped, and had to be restrained by officials.

Chara, playing in his 1,200th career NHL game Friday, shouldn't be surprised by the culprits - both Clutterbuck (2008-09) and Martin (2011-12) previously led the league in hits.
