Artur Boruc: Suffers thigh injury in warmup

Boruc felt discomfort in his thigh during the pregame warmup Saturday against Manchester City.

Analysis:

Boruc was removed from 18-man squad before kickoff, allowing Adam Federici the pleasure of getting blasted by the Citizens. Federici did make six saves, but he was beaten five times, thrice by Raheem Sterling and twice by Wilfried Bony. The severity of Boruc's injury is unclear, but Federici could continue to start if the former has to miss any time.
