Seahawks' Carroll: Lynch 'really close' to return, likely game-time decision vs. Bengals

Marshawn Lynch is making progress toward his eventual return to the field, but it remains unclear whether he'll be able to suit up for Sunday's matchup with the Cincinnati Bengals.

Head coach Pete Carroll said in an appearance Friday on KIRO Radio that Lynch is "really close" and will likely be a game-time decision, according to Bob Condotta of The Seattle Times.

The designation likely means that Lynch will be listed as questionable on Friday's injury report, as he was prior to last week's game before eventually being ruled out.

Lynch will re-emerge as the Seahawks' feature back upon being cleared to play, while rookie Thomas Rawls should continue to work in that role if the five-time Pro Bowler is held out another week.

Rawls started each of Seattle's past two games, recording 33 carries for 152 yards over that span.
