Steelers' Bryant sore ahead of Monday's game vs. Chargers

Adam Hunger / USA TODAY Sports

Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Martavis Bryant didn't practice Wednesday due to soreness.

Bryant, who's returning from a four-game suspension, doesn't need to be listed on the practice report until he's officially on the 53-man roster, which is expected to happen Friday.

The second-year pro was suspended for violating the NFL's substance-abuse policy.

Bryant caught 26 passes for 549 yards and eight touchdowns in 10 games last season.
