With the seriousness of the Toronto Blue Jays' first postseason appearance in 22 years approaching, ace and Game 1 starter David Price decided to have a little fun during a press conference on Wednesday.

Price wasn't all jokes and emojis though, as he did go on to discuss how he felt entering Thursday's contest against the Texas Rangers.

"If you can come in with the way my body feels right now, that's a plus," he said. "Postseason baseball is definitely different, but you have to go out there and treat it the same."

The 30-year-old left-hander wasn't the only player to debut an emoji on Wednesday either, as Game 2 starter Marcus Stroman also revealed his.

Since being acquired from the Detroit Tigers at the trade deadline, Price owns a 9-1 record with a 2.30 ERA and 1.01 WHIP in 11 starts for the Blue Jays and is a front-runner, along with Dallas Keuchel of the Houston Astros, for the American League Cy Young award.
