Ogletree out at least 8 weeks; Rams sign Jo-Lonn Dunbar

St. Louis Rams linebacker Alec Ogletree will be out at least eight weeks after undergoing surgery on a fractured fibula, Rams head coach Jeff Fisher confirmed Tuesday.

Ogletree will still count against the Rams' 53-man roster for the time being, and was not placed on injured reserve. The Rams signed Jo-Lonn Dunbar to ostensibly replace Ogletree on Tuesday, according to multiple reports.

It will be hard to replicate Ogletree's impact on the roster. The third-year pro was off to an excellent start, recording 40 tackles and two sacks in four games.

Although it's a devastating injury, Ogletree remained in high spirits after the surgery.
