Seattle Seahawks defensive end Michael Bennett isn't a fan of Detroit Lions quarterback Matthew Stafford, but it has nothing to do with them being on opposing teams.
Following the Seahawks' 13-10 win over the Lions on Monday night, Bennett gave an odd explanation for his dislike of Stafford:
"(Stafford's) from Dallas and Dallas, they killed the president," Bennett told Curtis Crabtree of Sports Radio KJR. "It's where JFK, one of the greatest presidents, died at so I just have a little hatred towards him.
"... I hold it against him."
Bennett is known for making bizarre statements, but holding an assassination that happened over two decades before someone was born against them is on another level.
