Doors continue to shut for Curtis Glencross.
The free-agent forward was released from his professional tryout with the Colorado Avalanche.
Glencross signed a professional tryout deal with the Avalanche after he was released from a tryout contract with the Toronto Maple Leafs.
A two-time 20-goal scorer, Glencross has failed to gel with an NHL club since departing the Calgary Flames last season.
The 32-year-old joined the Washington Capitals late last season, managing four goals and seven points in 18 regular-season games before adding one goal in 10 playoff contests.
