Canadiens assign Hudon, Andrighetto to AHL

The Montreal Canadiens announced Monday they've assigned forwards Charles Hudon and Sven Andrighetto to the AHL's St. John's IceCaps.

Hudon, a Canadiens' fifth-round pick in 2012, has yet to play a regular-season game with the club.

Andrighetto will return to the AHL where he spent the majority of last season putting up 14 goals and 43 points in 60 games for the Hamilton Bulldogs. He had two goals and three points in 12 games with the Canadiens last season.
