Chiefs' Santos kicks 7 field goals in loss to Bengals
Just give him the Special Teams Player of the Week award now.
Kansas City Chiefs placekicker Cairo Santos had a career day Sunday, making all seven of his field goal attempts and accounting for all of his team's 21 points.
The last kick, a 51-yarder, may have been the best.
It was also the most puzzling, as it came late in the fourth quarter and made the score 36-21 for the Cincinnati Bengals. It's fair to question whether the Chiefs should have been playing for a touchdown.
The NFL record for most field goals in a game is eight, held by onetime Tennessee Titans kicker Rob Bironas.
