Dolphins' Philbin meets with owner after loss, 'not at all' worried about job security

Miami Dolphins head coach Joe Philbin said he's not worried about his job security despite meeting with team owner Stephen Ross following the Dolphins' 24-14 loss to the New York Jets on Sunday.

The loss, which wasn't as close as the score indicates, dropped the Dolphins to 1-3 on the season. They have been outscored 91-48 since a narrow Week 1 win.

"No, not at all," Philbin answered when asked after the game if he's worried about losing his job, according to ESPN's James Walker. "I'm worried about getting this team straightened out and fixed and getting our team ready to play the Tennessee Titans."

The Dolphins will return home for a bye week, putting Ross in the ideal position to make a coaching change should he decide to do so.

Philbin stressed that he plans to stay the course.

"We still can't panic," Philbin said. "It all seems like the walls are closing in on you. We all realize that. So we gotta look at things and be honest about where we are, what we're doing well and what we're not doing well."
